Inside Sales representative

We are actively seeking an Inside Sales Representative who is energetic, driven, and dedicated to pursuing greater growth. This person will be expected to work out of our Mason City office – a newly renovated, modern, and exceptional space to work! Along with being provided lists of potential clients to contact, this position will be expected to organize those contacts, follow-up, and nurture them through the sales process.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Call prospective customers, determine their need, and offer DreamDirt solutions
  • Target prospective clients for both land and machinery sales
  • Understand needs and expectations of prospective clients and offer DreamDirt resources to answer questions
  • Handle lead traffic and keep customer relationships organized and nurtured
  • Demonstrate online bidding platform to potential clients
  • Operate DreamDirt’s CRM platform and assist outside sales with client nurture
  • Manage database of potential customers and contact them regularly

Skills:

  • Should be expert in navigating MS Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.
  • Should be familiar with CRM platforms and procedures
  • Impressive personality and ability to convince prospective clients through conversation
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
  • High level of self-confidence, energy, and personal drive
  • Good organizational and follow-up skills
  • Ability to analyze market and target potential clients

Requirements:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential business partners and complete appropriate research on the business and how we can form mutually beneficial relationships
  • Partner with the sales team to evaluate opportunities and efficiencies
  • Understand needs and expectations of prospective partners and offer DreamDirt resources to answer questions
  • Identify unconventional ways to grow into new markets and sectors

CURRENTLY HIRING:

Communications Intern

We are actively seeking a Spring/Summer Communications Intern who is driven, responsible, and excited to learn new skills and contribute to the success of our clients. This position will work part-time remotely during the spring, with the option to continue the internship throughout the summer. The internship will be heavily focused on strategic content-creation and graphic design, along with other communications aspects the applicant is interested in pursuing.

Primary Tasks:

  • Create flyers, cover photos, and newspaper ads for each auction using Adobe InDesign and Photoshop
  • Work with Communications Specialist to develop weekly email blasts
  • Contribute to content and graphic creation for FarmBid and DreamDirt social media accounts
  • Help develop videos for each auction or other projects/events
  • Occasional blog posts
  • Other design/print work as needed
  • We will also work together to determine one large, long-term project that the intern will be responsible for seeing through from start to finish

Skills/Requirements:

  • Proficiency in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro
  • Ability to use Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Project prioritization
  • Sophomore in college or above
  • Laptop or ability to access a computer
  • Dependability and motivation required to succeed at a remote position

Online Auction Representative

The online farm auction industry has grown exponentially in the last decade. DreamDirt responded to this market by building our instant and perpetual online auction, FarmBid. As an Online Auction Representative, you will help producers, dealers, and farmers place farm equipment in FarmBid. 

DreamDirt Online Auction Representative have:

  • A strong knowledge of farm equipment
  • The ability to build connections in the area they live
  • The sales skills to help producers maximize the value of excess property by selling them on FarmBid

We strongly believe our independent representatives are the most important part of our business. You will gain knowledge and tools through our orientation process, and can further that education through our annual DreamDirt University course. Your work will be support by our full-time staff who administrate the online auction platform and advertise the property. When you have the support to serve your clients, we all win. 

This is a 100% commission position. Each client that sells with DreamDirt brings in a commission that is then split between you and the company. You will no longer be limited to a specific amount on payday, and you take your earning power into your own hands. The more work you do, the more money you make!

Farm Real Estate Agents earn income from:

  • Representing property sellers and buyers
  • Real estate consulting
  • Creating real estate appraisals
  • Conducting auctions

Simply build connections in the area you live, develop relationships with property owners, and gain clients who want to maximize the value of their property through auction. 

We strongly believe our agents are the most important part of our business. Your work will be supported by our full-time staff who administrate the process and advertise the property.

There are a few requirements to becoming a DreamDirt Farm Real Estate Agent:

  • You must be at least 18 years old
  • You must be licensed to sell real estate OR eligible to become licensed
  • You must pass a pre-screening assessment
  • You must invest in necessary start-up costs such as acquiring your real estate license, personal advertising materials, and additional training.

This is a 100% commission position. Each client that sells with DreamDirt brings in a commission that is then split between you and the company.
